MARYAM SALAMI
Maryam was born and raised in Iran and received a degree in literature during her early years of study. She spent weekends on her family farm and it is there she fell in love with the beauty and healing power of plants and nature. Her work is a fusion of ancient and modern approaches to healing through design. She has created a rare tapestry of work that is only hers and that has been acquired through her many years of various fields of study.
Maryam is a certified Feng Shui practitioner from the Geomancy Modern School of Feng Shui since 1994 and continues her education from the school of White Light Feng Shui. She has studied under the H.H. Grand Master Lin Yun and Master Jetsun Ma Ho Lynn for over 25 years. She has assisted her in her teachings by traveling to Seattle and Washington and abroad and educating architects and designers in this practice. She received her certification in Kundalini Yoga in 2004 and credits this spiritual form of yoga and meditation for the intuitive aspect of her work.
Maryam has a degree in Horticulture from CCSF with an emphasis in the fine art of Ikebana, Japanese and Zen Design of gardens and flowers. She owned and operated the floral boutique - Ms Daisy - in Hayes Valley, SF for many years. She was sought after for her exquisite and one of a kind arrangement and serviced many personal and high-end corporate accounts.
Maryam is passionate about bringing balance, beauty and harmony to the lives of those she works with by incorporating these healing modalities. She works her magic on the interior homes, as well as the gardens and surrounding landscape. She is a true inspiration and an amazing light worker.
